Bob Farrell-

I am announcing my membership in AA. Don’t worry. I’m not on the wagon. It’s Alligator Alliance. It’s an organization with alligator lovers that feels like the action of one lone reptile should not represent the entire species.

Thanks for your support.

Angela Flythe Holt -

“The underdog" in that generally speaking, people don't want to save reptiles--gators and snakes, etc. They want to save cute, fuzzy critters. I agree with the McNeills that they deserve protection and respect. If you're going to eat gator, eat farm-raised gator, so our wild populations are not decimated, please!.

Excellent work for these gentle animals. 99.9% of these gators go unseen and never bother mankind.

Angela-

Great work! I believe alligators deserve our respect and protection! They are vital parts of the ecosystems they inhabit!

Joyce-

Excellent article. We should keep in mind that alligators, like all moms, are quite defensive of their young. Best to give them wide berth during mating/hatching season!

I have enjoyed reading all about Alligator Alliance!! Thank you for all the hard work you do to help the Alligators! They really appreciate it!

Angela Holt-

I just read both magazine articles - - great work! Again, thank you for all you do for the gators, the environment and the people in NC! I am proud to know you!

Gator Hole Dan-

I was so thrilled to see your articles in both magazines. The work you do is so important and I'm always so happy to see when your message makes it to the public! Thank you for all that you do!! Much Appreciation!

Sally-

Good for you! All of our wildlife deserves our attention to survive! Congratulations on all of the recent PR. Well deserved! Great job! I live in Brunswick County and I always see your names on the NC Adopt-A-Highway signs when I drive into Old Brunswick Town. I said "That's it!" when I read your article in the recent issue of North Brunswick Magazine. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

From Holly-

I live in Brunswick Forest and play golf at Cape Fear National. I love seeing the gators and I have taken several pictures of them over the years. Some of the pictures I took were put in the Forest View magazine. I would be happy to send some pictures. Thank you for creating the Alliance to help keep the gators safe.

From Roxanne -

I just read the article that was written in the Carolina Country Magazine and thought it was amazingly interesting. I went to your website and read all the information about the alligators throughout Brunswick County. I absolutely love alligators and find them to be very interesting. I could sit and watch them forever. Show me a lizard or anything else other than a gator and I will have nothing to do with them. As a matter of fact, I will run away! Crazy, I know, but I have read up on alligators and I use my common sense about these lovely creatures. I know to watch them from a distance. I have spent many hours at both Alligator Adventure (Myrtle Beach) and the NC Aquarium (Fort Fisher). I want to work with alligators and learn as much as I can about them. I don’t like to see them harmed. Your website is great. Thank you for caring about these lovely animals.

Lisa, This is an amazing website, and you and your husband do wonderful things for the alligators of our area! Many thanks! I am so happy to have met you, and I share your passion for enjoying, respecting, protecting and saving wildlife.

From Brenda -

This is such a wonderful page. I am going to share the link on my page for family and friends that visit us so they will be aware. We have been flooded with information on the turtles, but nothing on the alligators.

From Laura -

Let me start by saying that we have come to the area on vacation for about 21 years now and just last year was informed of your organization and website. We love it, as we love to come see the gators every time we are there. Seeing the gators is one of the most important stops in our trip! I am an animal/wildlife lover, so this is just beauty and nature at its best! Thank you!

From Angela George -

Hi. I am so glad to see that I'm not the only one that loves the gators. My favorite Gator is the one that calls Orton Pond home. I have been calling him Larry. I think I like your name for him better. I have been extremely concerned lately because people are feeding him and I caught someone throwing rocks at him today. It breaks my heart. Not sure what to do about this other than to check on him daily and school people on what not to do. I would love to be involved in any way with helping our Gator friends. Please let me know if I can be of any help to your group.

From Karen -

This is a wonderful website, and the McNeills, particularly Lisa, have a strong passion and understanding of the life of the alligator. People should realize that alligators do not go on the prowl hunting people down. There are more people to fear than there are alligators.

From Sherry -

I attended the Alligator Alliance lecture tonight (Aug. 11, 2016) sponsored by The Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department. It was excellent. Since there are so many alligators in the Boiling Spring Lakes area I think all residence should have been there. You missed a lot. Make sure you attend if they reschedule Alligator Alliance. Well worth your time.
